Debut EP from solo artist, Caine Rose, from rural Virginia. Hailing from a long line of mountain folk that settled part of southwestern Virginia in the early 19th century, and migrated from Scotland, Ireland, Germany, and France from as early as the 1600s, Rose has American and European folk music in his blood. These four tracks are inspired by his passion for ancient acoustic stringed music, traditional folk, bluegrass, as well as more modern ambient and electronic soundscapes, and the caustic strains of black metal, with lyrics and vocals that emote the depth and frailty of love and love lost.

This EP could not have been produced without the many broken hearts I've endured in loving and losing the ones I thought would never leave. The ones that swore they'd never go. The ones that gave me everything and then took it all away. The ones I will never stop loving. The ones that gave me the reason to not give up. I am still here and they are all gone, but the scars, the heartache, the revelations, the lingering recollections of love still live on.
